OUR STORY

In the 1980s, Eisael and Maria Teresa Hernandez came to the United States from Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, in search of a better future for their family. Together, they spent years working in the orchards of Central Washington, saving every penny they could while pursuing their dream of owning a restaurant.

That dream became a reality on February 14, 1998, when they opened La Presa Mexican Restaurant in Grand Coulee, Washington. Built on hard work, sacrifice, family values, and authentic homemade recipes, La Presa quickly became a part of the community.

As the restaurant grew, so did the support from loyal customers, leading to the opening of a second location in Airway Heights on February 17, 2008.

Today, Eisael and Maria Teresa are retired and have passed their legacy on to their two youngest sons. Eisael Jr. operates the Grand Coulee location, while Clint manages the Airway Heights restaurant, continuing the family tradition their parents worked so hard to build.

At La Presa, we remain committed to authenticity, consistency, and community.

Thank you for supporting our family and being part of our story.
